Default Pizza in Maine

Will be in the Portland area soon. We are actually looking for a place with
good pizza - thin crust, like Frank Pepe in New Haven or the typical NY
pizza or Pizza Regina.
And while we are at it, can anyone give some leads on good, moderate or
inexpensive Italian and Chinese?

Thanks

Ed

Ed,

Here's my Maine dining diary from May 2006:

http://ampersandvirgule.blogspot.com...s-eat-too.html

As noted the other day, Star Fish Grill is no long open; you're on your
own for checking whether any other places mentioned are still in business.

The one place I mention that serves pizza is one I'd warn you away from.
Otherwise, maybe someone else has some ideas for you.

Also, check for driving distances and times before you try following any
leads.

HTH,

Dick

Assuming your traveling north and it's not a business trip , stop at
Rocco's at OOB .

Pretty good NY style pizza .I dont eat Chinese or Italian while up
here as it's very much hit or miss : very much miss .
