I was talking to a woman while we waited in the doctor.s office. We
started talking about what to do with an apple which had become mealy and
wasn.t good to eat raw. She said she made German Apple Pancakes. She
described making these pancakes but by the time I got home, I couldn.t
remember all the instructions. I know she used a grater to cut very thin
slices which she put in a bowl and added eggs, milk and flour. Does this

Subject: Vegetarian Main Dish

Someone, please help me. I have a friend coming for dinner. She is a
vegetarian so I need to make a vegetarian main dish, probably with Indian
flavoring. I am thinking I will make a rice side dish, some roasted
vegetables, a salad and the main dish. My problem is figuring out what
this main dish shouldbe and finding a recipe. I have tasted some
wonderful Indian vegetarian recipe made with beans or chickpeas but I
don.t have any recipe for them. Since the rice I want to make is a great
saffron rice I want some bean main dish which will go with it. Any
recipe?
