Sweet Dill Pickles
6 to 8 cu***bers 1 lclove garlic or 1 onion sliced for each bottle dill stalk or seeds 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2 cup white vinegar 1/3 cup pickling salt Soak whole cu***bers in ice water 3 to 4 hrs. Drain. Slice longwise Place in sterilized jars along with garlic (1 clove) and a generous amount of dill. Combine sugar, water,vinegar & salt. Bring to a boil. Pour over pickles.
