<dontuse@fellwalk.co.uk> writes My own favourite version of this, which I had twice in the past week or so, is ciabatta toasted lightly then spread with sun dried tomato paste and drizzled with olive oil if I have any nice stuff, torn up fresh basil sprinkled on top, then ordinary mozzarella (usually not the buffalo kind) on top of that, grilled, pepperoni and anchovy olive slices, grilled briefly to get the pepperoni bubbling, topped off with freshly grated parmesan and quickly grilled again. -- congokid Eating out in London? Thanks, June. Let me try the cheese shop in Totnes and the delis there and
in Ashburton first and failing that, I'll take you up on that kind offer. A couple of times I've nearly been fooled into buying it made with cows' milk which rather defeats the object! -- Sacha http://www.hillhousenursery.co.uk (remove weeds from address) |

If you mailed it cold in the morning and it arrived that afternoon,
maybe... otherwise, don't do it, because it goes downhill fast. People in Campania won't eat it later than the same day it came out of the buffalo. I'm not that fussy, but I sure have thrown a lot away. It first gets bitter on the outside and then goes sour all through. -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

Well, we do have three ponds, so to some extent we've got the water......
Maybe they'd deal with silly parents like the one who let its child swing on one of the hanging baskets in the greenhouse, waiting to go out to its owner. It came crashing down and broke several plants beneath it. Had it hit the child, there's every chance it would have killed or seriously injured it. My husband gave the mother a real ticking off and her excuse was that she was paying for plants, so didn't know where little Johnny was! This same mother had parked her car precisely in the middle of the entrance so other cars had the greatest difficulty getting round hers. And the day before, he'd overheard two anxious women saying "I haven't seen little Fred for a while. Where on earth can he be?" My husband, who was steering little Fred (all of 3) away from the fishpond said "he's just finished his second lap. Swims well for his age, doesn't he?" They simply didn't see it! Perhaps a quick goring by a water buffalo would do it! ;-) -- Sacha http://www.hillhousenursery.co.uk (remove weeds from address) |
