Gluten free?
It shouldn't. The only people who need to go gluten free are celiacs and
those with a gluten allergy/sensitivity.
Some people might mistakenly think that a gluten free diet is automatically
lower in carbs. However, if you eat gluten free bread, it is by nature
higher in carbs and usually in calories than regular wheat bread. And there
is usually less fiber. People on gluten free diets can also tend to eat a
lot of things like rice pasta, rice, potatoes and fruit. All of which need
to be eaten in controlled portions for diabetics.
