Further to the previous posts on the above, I got a menu put through the
door today...

Special Mixed biriani
Meat, chicken and prawn mixed with basmati rice and cooked with continental
[??] spices, sultanas, coconut, nuts and garnished with *omelette*, tomato &
cu***ber, served with vegetable curry.

Ooerr. Never noticed that before.

Possibly a strange interpretation of adding egg yolks to the rice? I'm
guessing?

Anywhoo I don;t care... I'm doing a chicken balti with 2 rices, some mixed
veg., naan, papadums, samosas, mango and lime tonight!

they forgot the kitchen sink (Belfast of course!) chuck it all in and call
it something Indian, usually pulls the wool over punter's eyes.

are garnished with shredded coconut or sliced almonds ...

That is ... something to watch for those of us with nut allergy.

Having seen this in 2 or 3 places I now have to ask ...
