1) Difficulty of obtaining (cheap) halal beef in the UK i.e. difficulty in
slaughtering a fully conscious cow with a slit to the throat in a way that
does not make excessive financial demands on people, equipment or space.
Relatively expensive halal beef is however available and some of the more
classy restaurants serve it.

2) Difficulty in obtaining cheap and edible non halal customer satisfaction
centred beef in the UK.
