Default Ebook curry secret email

I just received an email advertising an ebook costing £6.50 The Real Secret
to Making Indian Restaurant Curries. The blurb says the secret is in the
sauce. May be someone has just rehashed Kris Dhillon's book The Curry
Secret and trying to flog it on the net. Has anyone else received this and
has anyone tried it ?

Yes, I have tried the recipe in this book and it is good. The book
does use a special sauce as the base of currys and is similar to the
curry secret recipe. However, there are some differences in the way
that the sauce is made and it uses cinnamon as a flavour enhancer.
Also, i didnt know about the onion paste and this seemed to make an
extremely big difference to the taste. I think maybe Kris Dhillon
wasnt telling all he knows.

Jackie.

Hi John,

It would certainly be interesting to see whether someone has replicated Kris
Dhillon's book although this would not be allowed, copyrights permitting.
It seems reasonable, send me the email and I will see whats going for it.

I used to have a copy of this book that I purchased from ebay but it
was not in ebook format at that time. It uses more than just a curry
sauce to create the dishes and from what i remember is better than the
curry secret.

i dont have a copy of the book anymore but would love to get hold of a
copy. do you know where on the net it is available?

Regards

Could this be the same as http://www.yakety.net/currybook.htm?hop=fcg01
This costs $20 so it might be different.

i have the book and have tried the recipe for the curry sauce. it is
the best i have tried yet. before, i used to use dhillons book but the
methods in this book give a far better result. the curry secret does
not tell you anything about using red onions orthe onion paste
additioon to the final curry nor does it explain about the frying
tequniques of the sauces to bring out the flavoiur of the spices.
unfortunatley i dont know how you can obtain a copy of this book now,
i have had my copy for about a year. but in answer to your question, i
have tried it and it is good.

May be its like those books that supposedly give the secret to reverse hair
loss and produce a full head of hair. A curry secret book title would
generate a <wide> interest. If the book is genuine and shows how to produce
a curry house flavour, then it wont be long before someone puts it on a web
site for all to see.

i have found where to get a copy. it is the same as the one that used
to be for sale on ebay although it looks as though it has had some
updates. thinking of dhillons book, not much of a similarity at all,
recipe is completely different just the method is similar, but this is
similar in all books on restaurant curry books i have, anyway, i found
it at http://www.thesecretofcurry.iwarp.com if anyone is interested.
