Default Monsoon - Acton

As an indian food fan (from the UK!) I have been wanting to try
monsoon for a while - it was very good indeed.
The decor is nice - not amazing, but tasteful and the staff efficient
and not over friendly (something I like)

We ordered Marsala Dosa and Lassi's (always a good test) and had the
best Dosa's I have eaten outside of London or India.

The food is spicy - not watered down as so many others in the NE - but
not overpowering.

An added bonus is that on the other side of the road from Monsoon is a
small but excellent Indian grocery shop, with good frozen Indian
breads etc.

How does the Acton Monsoon compare to its parent Monsoon in Maynard? I
went there when it opened, and I liked it, but I just don't get the urge
for Indian food very often.

Good question - but as I haven't been to the Maynard branch I can't
tell you!
I can say though that I will be going back to the Acton branch
though :-)

On 2A/119, near the intersection with 27. It's right next to Willow
Books, if that helps.

It used to be a Pizza Hut. My son got really excited at the rumor of a
Taco Bell moving in there, but we had better luck!
