Dinner tonight, or, How to improve Saffron Rice
Got a little faintsy with an old standby, fish and rice.
Take a side of trout, wet it with olive oil and sprinkle
on some Emeril's (which you can make if you look up the
recipe on the Foodtv.com website, or just buy it) original
seasoning. Add another light sprinkle of chipotle powder,
because it's good.
Start water for rice, and add about a half-tablespoon
per serving of dried shallots, a pinch of saffron, a
dash of dried garlic, and, to improve it, about half
a teaspoon of garam masala.
I'm glad I only made enough for one, because otherwise
I'd have eaten for two.
