They are often shipped around and even saved frozen for off-season
consumption (ever had a "spider roll" at a sushi place in the winter? Yep, frozen). I'm not aware of any other crab species that is regularly eaten as "soft shelled crabs" though I won't exclude the possibility of there being others. -- HTTP://www.sushifaq.com/ The Sushi FAQ ...><((((º> HTTP://www.theteafaq.com/ The Tea FAQ HTTP://www.jerkyfaq.com/ The Jerky FAQ HTTP://www.omega3faq.com/ The Omega 3 Fatty Acids FAQ http://www.probioticsfaq.com/ The Probiotics FAQ HTTP://www.hoodiafaq.com/ The Hoodia FAQ |

Great! I definitely think they taste different live versus frozen. Air
freight is one great contribution the human race has made to itself (unfortunately t comes with pollution, etc). Still..... yummy! -- HTTP://www.sushifaq.com/ The Sushi FAQ ...><((((º> HTTP://www.theteafaq.com/ The Tea FAQ HTTP://www.jerkyfaq.com/ The Jerky FAQ HTTP://www.omega3faq.com/ The Omega 3 Fatty Acids FAQ http://www.probioticsfaq.com/ The Probiotics FAQ HTTP://www.hoodiafaq.com/ The Hoodia FAQ |
