force has all but dissolved, terrified US troops are gunning people
down at the sound of a sneeze. The Sunnis, Shites, and Kurds are all
planning their next power plays. This is a cauldron about to boil over

The same France and Germany who opposed the war and were being mocked

swallow it.
As for the Soviet/Afghan war remark, you need to improve your English
comprehension skills. I didnt say it was the same kind of war. I said
it bore the same level of controversy as most of the world strongly
opposed the actions of the aggressor. This will not be easily

Iraq. Iraqis will have to prove they are competant enough to govern
themselves. Increasingly it looks like that is not a possibility. Like, I

Yep. Iraqis are not capable of governing themselves. Afghanis have been far
more successful as evidenced by their recent peaceful and successful loya
jirga and adoption of a constitution.
