as all it did was replace sales tax under which many items that were being
taxed at amounts closer to 20%...so your assertion there is quite incorrect.

"You got nothing" not true once again Tom, many people received the full
$1000 and many more received amounts below that due to qualifying
requirements, but it is certainly better than not receiving a legislated tax
cut that we didnt get under Labor.

"the price of goods went up more than 10% to offset for the cost of
implementation" come now Tom, do you know that to be true? there was a
reporting system in place to stop this so if you have real evidence of this
then you should have acted, but its just another generalisation really isnt
it?

I wont get much from this budget but it is aimed at families and they
should win well in the areas of Family Allowance, Tax cuts for middle income
earners, one off payments of $3000 etc etc
