Mr. Kornbluh is the editor of "The Pinochet File." Published on the 30th anniversary of General Pinochet's military coup, the book makes public many of the secret records that attest to U.S. government complicity with Pinochet. The narrative includes transcripts of Nixon, Kissinger and other cabinet members discussing how to dismantle the pro-Marxist Allende government, White House cables welcoming General Pinochet to power and CIA, National Security Council and State Department reports on the September 1976 car bombing deaths of Orlando Letelier and Ronni Moffitt. Following his presentation, Mr. Kornbluh answers questions from the audience. Author Bio: Peter Kornbluh is the director of the National Security Archive's Chile Documentation Project. Mr. Kornbluh led the campaign to declassify the official documentation of the history of U.S. government support for the Pinochet dictatorship.
