BLACKARD GROUP, INC. AND PARTNERS PURCHASE 44 ACRES FOR CROATIAN VILLAGE
IN HEART OF McKINNEY

European Styled Mixed Use Village Planned


McKinney, Texas - - Blackard Group, Inc. announces the purchase of 44
acres in the heart of the Stonebridge Ranch community in McKinney,
Texas. The development of Harbor Market Village, a mixed-use village,
based on the Croatian village of Supetar on the Adriatic island of Brac,
is planned for the site. “This will bring a new way of living to North
Texas” says Jeff Blackard, President of Blackard Group, Inc.

Blackard, who has developed more than 10,000 single-family lots across
the country, has long dreamed of bringing the European village style of
living to Texas. “I have fallen in love with the sense of place that
these villages possess, and believe that others will also,” says
Blackard. “This particular tract is an ideal location because it is
situated on a lake among amenities such as 16 miles of hike and bike
trails that Stonebridge Ranch residents and visitors can enjoy.”

The Harbor Market Village development will offer 79 luxurious villas
where residents can enjoy a low-maintenance home nestled near shops,
restaurants and offices. It will be highly reminiscent of Supetar with
its stone exteriors and tile roofs. The layout of Harbor Market Village
will encourage people to leave their cars behind and walk. According to
partner David Radman, “Our hope is to also offer residents 298 loft
homes above retail and office, and we are working closely with the City
of McKinney to complete that vision.”
