Caucasian Club ethnicity and background compared to Black Clubs....?
PLEASE READ:
wouldn't the issue of the cultural background of the "white club"
have to be addressed? i mean, "caucasian" is a term that applies to
people with white skin (merriam-webster: "of or relating to the white
race of humankind as classified according to physical features) which
incorporates more than a dozen countries.
so if the caucasian club were to be founded on the basis to discuss
their "history" and "racial disparities" then that would mean to
incorporate the cultures of nearly every european country and america.
but the clubs under the title (something like) "black untiy" or
"diversity clubs" don't necessarily discuss EVERY african country and
its diversity. they refer to themselves being african-american more of
a whole.
so wouldn't founding a caucasian club be the same thing as founding
a "black unity" club to unite whites under their collaboritive history
in order to promote their diversity?
now this idea seems very strange in a society seemingly founded
by white institutions, which is why i, being caucasian, and many
others - not only whites, have a bit of uneasiness discussing this
topic...
PLEASE RESPOND AND CRITICIZE AND ADD ON TO WHAT I SAID, i need to get
some good voices back from people all over, as i am going to give
presentation on this somewhat touchy subject for my oral english
class. only the voices representing will justly put an end to the
issue of a "caucasian club."
