Denny's says "Aloha"

The Denny's with the best view in the world, the one at the corner of
Kalakaua and Kapahulu, is no more:

Oh nooo! There goes 20 years. Fortunately there are still Denny's locations
in Hawai'i but still... that location was convenient.

I remember as a kid in the late 50's there use to be a gas station
(the gas station with the best view in the world) on that corner.

Bring back Stewart's Pharmacy!

I've eaten a number of times at that place. The thing
I'll remember most about the view is all those pokey
things they put in the open beams to keep the birds
from roostiing there. If it wasn't for those things,
Denny's would have become their second home. The first
is the zoo.
