hmmm...somewhat surprised here that no one has yet commented on the gas
cap
on wholesale prices to be in effect Sept 1. Folks here on the
mainland
are watching with interest to see what happens. Some say prices will
stabilize, others say they will rise even more.

I saw a segment on the national news but don't feel qualified to comment
one way or the other on the subject. I find it a 'wait and see'
situation...only time will tell.

That is obviously because you have not spent a long time on this newsgroup.
We have argued the gas cap issue ad nauseum.

The majority of posts about the gas cap were generated in 2002. The
issue was revisited in one, long thread in early 2004. I don't think
this subject has been discussed recently, esp. considering that it's
right around the corner. You're both right!

Speaking of long time participation...who remembers Pueo's pidgin
stories, Helen's rocket stories, da Nay-tan's stories in general (not to
mention his typos) <g>, Panther's stories in particular <ggg>, the SCH
picnics...and the infamous ACH lynch mob? Those who do remember are the
true long timers!

Trippin' down Memory Lane...Sue

migosh...having had argued any issue "ad nauseum" never has kept folks
here
from casting still another stone or two. Have things changed that much
recently here?

Default Memories (was Re: gas cap)

Well, it did have it's down side, too, but we won't go there!

Ya mean ACH is still around? I unsubscribed from it before the turn of
the century. <g> Whatta cesspool it turned into.

Bwaha! Me too!!! The design is starting to wear off but I still use it
almost daily.

yeah, still got my a.c.h. lynch mob T-shirt ...
- and Pueo not being able to get a flight to Hilo, but finally
make it after all. That was when I still had my 3W cell phone. -
