Has anyone experienced any race discrimination at Longs Drugs in Hawaii?

Yes. Some staff may be new and needs training. But in
general, they are good at handling customers. Even
working conditions seem to be good.

Longs staff is pretty good. But I think that since it
is a 24/7 operation, after a certain hour, they have
much more security, and working conditions may change
to the detriment with some staff.

Walmart, OTOH, has been sued for not promoting women to
supervisor positions, and other forms of
discrimination.

Not that I can recall. I'm haole; my wife is African-American, and
we've
been to (at the very least) the Ala Moana, McCully, Kaimuki and Kahala
Long's on Oahu and the downtown and Prince Kuhio Plaza ones in Hilo.
I've also been to the Kahului one, and we may have been to the Manoa
one. Everybody's been nice.
