Am pleasantly surprised that there is now some progress
to report on this problem. At Farington High School
where there has been a death from student violence, in
2004 the number of administrative actions have been
reduced by 77% from when the program first started in
2002. At the same time, this makes less likely a
Columbine style of killings in Hawaii schools.
