Well sorry the court of law said he was murdered. How dare you say

These two men never made a split second decision, how do we know this
because McBride had made between 60-70 yards from them when he was
shot. For an olympic sprinter I would guess that would take 5 seconds.
For a fully clothed man carrying a bag I guess that would take a fair
bit more than that.

Secondly as McBride was known at the time not to be a memeber of the
PIRA, he was held and searched for around five mins, which McBride and
Fisher saw mean't that he was unarmed and posed no threat, after all
he was running away from them. Claims such as they though he was
carrying a coffee jar bomb where false as they saw him being searched.

Your lame excuse that they where in the army to protect the people of
NI from the murderous PIRA is quite distasteful. Just as distasteful
as those excusing the actions of loyalists or republicans excusing
murder by making claims such as trying to protect ulster or unite
Ireland.

So tell me, how did Wright and Fisher protect Peter McBride?

The Judge in his conclusion also said that even if a charge of man
slaughter had of been available to him, he could not have convicted
Wright and Fisher with it.

They just want a few SF votes, if they were clever they would go for
the 'decent family values' angle as Sinn Fein have lost the plot. If
Father Troy started a political party he would put them both out of
business. Catholics are becoming disenchanted with _both_ Sinn Fein
and the SDLP. Ultimately constitutional politics for Sinn Fein did not
get far past the slogan stage.

McBride ran away and as a suspect got himself shot. Your question is just bloody stupid as he was!

The judge and the whole trial was badly out of order. These men were caught in the Political trap that they were being used as cannon fodder to satisfy the blood lust of Republicans and also to enable Blair et all to persuade the Republican Movement to allow Sinn Féin/IRA to participate in the GFA.
