and other people really want. You sit in England on your fat ass and pass
judgement on Irish affairs. So, you were a squaddie over here. That makes
you a political expert and not only that.....a mind-reader as well. Listen
Davey boy, if you really were a squaddie over here, then that explains
everything about your mentality cos you obviously were a thick Taffy who
didn't have a clue that you too were a Celt and should have therefore had
some sort of affinity with the Irish.......much moreso than the British. Why
dontcha

I suppose I worded that wrongly Tel okay. I agree with you mostly. Any
English people I met last year were very likeable people indeed. And I have
met a lot of squaddies who I also liked because THEY were ordinary normal
lads who just happened to be stuck over here. When I used the word
"typical" it sounded like a generalisation about the English but in fact I
was referring to the David Jones type which is all too common as well! He
could sort out the Irish problem even though no British Prime Minister has
ever been able to. Davey boy would be better in politics then rather than
writing non-stop crap here.
