the incredibly spectacular display of shimmering, fast-moving curtains of
red and green light (bright enough ro read by) will cover the entire
northern sky for much of north america. the once-in-a-thousand-lifetimes
event is likely to have profound psychological effects on those people lucky
enough to see it, say scientists. it will be akin to a religious experience.
dr tinius davus said today that nothing at all will be seen from california.
"nada, zilch, not a peep, sod all, ha ha, ****'em", he emphasised.

And after all the trouble I went through just so you could see the Northern
Lights. It ain't easy arranging a Solar Storm, ya know! And a doozy of one, at
that.
Although, I'm a tad worried about having overdone it. I didn't anticipate the
shortband blackout....
Oh, well. Ya can't make an omlette without breaking a few eggs.
