Such a broad generalisation clearly doesn't apply to wannabe jew
converts like you.

Then it is strange that no Christian can show us any of it.

Randy, I don't think Susan is reading your posts from a.a., so you won't see
your other post that was posted only on a.a. I could be wrong, though.

Atheist means "to not believe in God or gods". When I was born, I
didn't know anything, including the notion of gods. Therefore, I
didn't believe in them. I think you could safely say I was an atheist
from birth. A soft-atheist, anyway.

I agree. I am as atheist as the day I was born. Theism has to be
taught, and those like me who were never taught it remain in exactly
the same state of non-belief.

All that has happened is that the day they realise some others
believe, that fact gets added to their knowledge base - their own
state of non-belief doesn't change.

This is important to understand. Most theists and a lot of atheists
don't.

Oh, Howard, how your memory weakens. Matt G. is the one who has a
"cdifferent" kind of intelligence. Sound familiar???

We have discussed so many "issues here before--although usually on the
opolitics.mideast group.

I am happy I could skip your little bibliography of old studies.
Beter update that to reflect the changing of the young and adults of
today. Imply? Not a think--who dares to do that is very unwise.

Yup, and I happen to have the education, but not the "wisdom"--Is that
what you are "implying" here? Norma

Belief in God is as old as homosapien himself. It requires no book -
only humanity. Think back on the most tragic life event you've ever
personally experienced - the loss of a loved one, divorce, betrayal,
despair, thoughts of suicide, debilitating addictions ... where does a
person turn when normal life events bring one to his/her knees? It is
only on our knees that we see ourselves for who we are and thus
understand the need for god.

Kind Regards,
Believer

You are looking for physical evidence, you should be looking for good
reasons, Based on your criteria you cant be sure logic or concepts exist
since they are not physical.

Sorry, most children naturally believe, atheism flows from the will and then
spreads to the head. IOW, people dont want to believe, then they make up
reasons not too.

"Flows from the will and them spreads to the head"? What does that mean?

And who says you're not making this up ?
