That's right! The minor inconvenience of being awakened early on a
Sunday morning was no excuse whatsoever! Our soldiers and sailors should
have simply rolled over and gone back to sleep when the Japanese planes
happened to fly too close and too low. We dirty Americans would probably
have shot at them for playing their radios too loud!

The Post Office cancelled its 1995 commemorative stamp of the
atom-bombing of Hiroshima due to Japanese complaints. Japan did not
complain, however, about the 1991 stamp that showed a battleship at
Pearl Harbor going up in flames, or one of the Bataan Death March.
