Default New study about those damn tortilla breath mexicans

Isn't health benefits one of the major things rednecks constantly whine
when they complain about all the benefits Mexicans get?

Here are some points from a new study:

-- Health insurance coverage for Mexicans is obtained primarily through
private insurance (32 percent). Just 15 percent of this population
participates in governmental health insurance programs, representing 3
percent of the U.S. population using these programs.

-- Immigrants from Mexico use emergency rooms about half as often as
the U.S.-born, whether white or Mexican American.

"Given the occupations that Mexican immigrants are most likely to hold,
they are also expected to experience more accidents or illnesses that
require emergency room use," stated Xochitl Castaneda, Director,
California Mexico Health Initiative. "However, the costs of emergency
room use by immigrants appear relatively low, despite their
occupational risks and low rates of having a usual source of care,"
concluded Ms. Castaneda.

-- Of the 10.2 million Mexican immigrants living in the United States,
more than half (5.9 million persons) do not have health insurance. This
number increases among recent immigrants of whom 70 percent lack
coverage.

-- Significant inequalities are observed in the same occupations. For
example, on those associated with cleaning, maintenance, and food
preparation, 77% of the recent Mexican immigrants have no health
insurance, compared with only 30% of the U.S.-born whites. Similarly,
in professional occupations, 44% of recent Mexican immigrants are
uninsured compared to 8% of the U.S.-born white population.

-- Within Mexican families, inequalities vis-a-vis access to medical
insurance is also found. Of the 3.9 million Mexican-headed households,
2.7 million (69%) include members under 18 years of age. In 27% of
Mexican-headed households, none of the minors are insured. Insured
children tend to be those born in the U.S., while often those without
coverage were born in Mexico.

Don't baffle these racists with the facts. Since the average racist
has an IQ below 100, the mere concept that the propaganda that they
have been feeding each other over and over is wrong might make those
little pointed heads of theirs pop.

Here's a good response to this "analysis" from a perspective in another
forum:

Sorry, I read that twice, and both times, my Bullshit Detector
exploded.

I finally recalibrated it to the MASSIVE Range, and got accurate
readings.

QUOTE
-- In 2004, Mexicans born in Mexico and residing in the U.S. numbered
10.2 million, compared with 879,000 in 1970.

Translation: At least 9.3 million Mexicans admit to having sneaked
across the border in the last 35 years. Of course, that number is
overwhelmingly those who've been here so long they no longer fear
discovery or deportation. So undoubtedly, the correct and accurate
figure is probably double or triple that amount, since illegal
immigration has risen dramatically in the last few years.

QUOTE
In 2004, descendents of Mexican immigrants grew to 26.8 million from
5.4 million in 1970.

Translation: Mexican immigrants have pumped out 21.4 million kids, all
needing schooling, health care, and other social services, mainly
because half the 21.4 million are female children having children, and
males becoming the foot soldiers in the burgeoning gang and drug
problem.

QUOTE
-- Health insurance coverage for Mexicans is obtained primarily through
private insurance (32 percent). Just 15 percent of this population
participates in governmental health insurance programs, representing 3
percent of the U.S. population using these programs.

Translation: For the mathematically challenged, 32 percent is a
minority. That means health coverage for Mexican immigrants is primarly
obtained through bilking hospitals by not paying for care. This
explains the 84 hospitals that closed in California last year due to
the crushing financial load of "uninsured patients" - the current PC
codeword for illegal aliens.

QUOTE
-- Immigrants from Mexico use emergency rooms about half as often as
the U.S.-born, whether white or Mexican American.

Translation: The fresh arrivals are too scared to go, to a slightly
higher percentage than those who've gotten comfortable; but they still
bring their anchor-baby children in without any hesitiation or fear.

Reality Check: Any hospital south of Vancouver is currently
experiencing total overload by illegal aliens. On an average night
anywhere in Los Angeles or Orange County, the number of Mexican
immigrants at the hospital far outstrips the numbers of any other
group, except perhaps in South Central L.A. And the overwhelming number
of them are here illegally.

They can try to spin that fact all they want, but the reality is there
for anyone to see on their next ER visit.
When 2/3rds of my patients on any given night don't have a Social
Security number, it's not because they forgot the card at home. It's
because they never had one.

This "survey" should come in 50-lb. bags, and be labelled "Rose
Fertilizer". It would explain the smell, at least

Default Immigrants & Healthcare: The racists retards were WRONG (DUH!) hahahaha

HAHA, I can assure you that babbling bullshit and lame exuses will not
do.
Try a real documented study on the subject with real facts if you are
interested in a refute. I know its hard admiting that the racist
movement is all empty of any real truth and simply a crock of shit. Are
you surprised? They were wrong, wait, don't tell me... AGAIN?????

hahahahaha

But I love it, seeing how one of their main complaints about Mexicans
and a main pillar in their moronic whiny movement crumbles down with
just a bit of real research. I guess the moral of the story is: never
trust or believe anything these racist jackasses have to say about
anything. PERIOD

Its a good laugh at least. The racist dummies preaching all this time
that the earth is flat disguised
as patriots.

HAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

Ain't that hilarious. I used to call them racist, but as some recent
studies show, these nazis and rednecks more than evil doers are
actually just a bunch of handycapped retards. So forgive me if I laugh
to much.

Anyways, about the Mexicans and Healthcare, here is a good article:

If you've been following my series of columns on the Mexican
immigrant issue you know that I have been taking the position that
most, if not all, of the vitriolic, hysteria-induced, bordering on the
racist, rhetoric about Mexican immigrants sucking dry America's
health care system is not based on critical thinking skills. But,
rather, it is based on general lack of critical thinking of maybe even
the majority of the American Public.

This is but one of the anti-Mexican Xenophobe's issues-health
care-about which they rant and about which I write.

My whole point in my columns has been that unless one at least attempts
to apply the rules of critical thinking, or as I aptly named them in my
columns, "Phony-Baloney Detection", that one is doomed to quoting
speculative facts and stats that could even border on the deceptive. It
is, as I have been writing in past columns, the test of experimentation
that cuts through the "cock and bull" of the emotive blustering
that always seems to have a wagonload of "proof" to accompany
fanatics' axes to grind and points to prove.

Check my past columns on "Phony-Baloney Detection Lessons".

Well, as I have been saying, the test of experimentation has finally
come through to cut through some of the Minuteman Project's "cock
and bull".

Health Day reporter, Randy Dotinga, in his article, U.S. Immigrant's
Health Cost Far Below Native-Born says this:

"Countering the belief that immigrants to the United States use more
than their share of health-care resources, a new study finds that just
the opposite is true".[1]

Now I simply must point out that this flies in the face of Chris Simcox
and his rowdy group of gun-toting cowboys Minuteman platform who will
swear to the point of shouting in your face that Mexicans are closing
hospitals and taking healthcare away from "Patriotic Americans".

Dotinga goes on to point out,

"According to the research released this week, data suggest that the
average immigrant consumes several hundred dollars less a year in
health costs, on average, than the typical native-born citizen. Most
strikingly, the researchers say that the health-care costs for the
poorest immigrant children are 84% below those of native born
kids."[2]

I have to ask the Minuteman people just where does this leave them and
their inconvertible claims, that they will deluge you with facts and
stats to prove, that Mexicans are destroying the American health-care
system?

I do not take much pleasure in telling "I told you so" to anyone.
But in this case, I take the greatest delight in having my convictions
vindicated that this recent uprising of anti-Mexican xenophobia, in the
form of Chris Simcox and his motley crew, have more at stake in this
issue than they claim and that there is more than meets the eye in
their ranting. I take even greater delight in the fact the test of
experimentation is cutting through their "cock and bull".

I have been saying this all along!

The article goes on to say,

"According to Mohanty, the research team launched the study to combat
the belief that immigrants take advantage of the American health-care
system. " We thought there were a lot of popular misconceptions," she
said.

The researchers looked at the results of a 1998 federal survey of more
than 21,000 people, including more than 2,800 immigrants. The findings
appear in the August issue of the American Journal of Public Health.

Mohanty's team found that immigrants accounted for an average of $1,582
in health costs per year, compared to $2,005 for the native-born. When
the researchers adjusted their figures to take into account possible
differences between the two groups due to factors such as age and
health status, that gap widened to $1,139 for immigrants and $2,546 for
the U.S.-born. Furthermore, a full 30 percent of immigrants used no
health care at all in the course of the average year."[3]

And get this:

"Latinos had the lowest expenditures among the immigrants; non-Latino
whites had the highest."[4]

I'm telling you there is a lot of "Phony-Baloney" going on
regarding the Mexican Immigration issue. Where are your
"Phony-Baloney Detection Kits"? You need them to cut through the
"cock and bull" in this issue!

Apparently, "Cazamigrante's" post from another forum really has your
ass in an uproar. And how do you reply? "Vociferously," to say the
least! Just so many beautiful words and beautiful sentiments, no
better than another old Roman lie: "Dulce et decorum est pro patria
mori." Get a clue: Illegal immigrants are a burden to this nation's
socio-economic system in many more ways than in just health costs
(including tuberculosis as well as cash shortfalls). Further, claiming
that because the "average" health costs for "immigrants" is less than
that for native citizens, is no justification for illegal immigration,
pendejo. You might as well claim that because some wetbacks work for
less than the legal minimum wage, they're entitled to amnesty, 40
acres, and a Burro... ORALE!!

yeah, and apparently not so much in healthcare.. hahaha. And not
everybody agrees with you on the others either. Here are some links to
a study which I had posted a while back that claim immigration is
actually positive:

http://migration.ucdavis.edu/mn/more.php?id=1246_0_2_0
http://www.visalaw.com/97jun/12jun97.html
http://www.fitzgeraldlawcompany.com/...50624-news.htm

everybody had all kinds of opinions and interpretations on these, but
nobody could pull out any better study to refute these. I mean they are
from renowned and prestigious organizations and its pretty clear what
they are saying and concluding.

Hey if you are going to provide links with other studies trying to
refute this, at least try and pull it out of somewhere with a bit of
prestige. Any crap from nazi websites like the borderpatrol vdare will
not help your case, get real kiddies please.

LOL. Well at least you admit that the assumptions about Mexicans and
healthcare could be wrong. And man, you must be blind and deaf because
that is one of the things that racists have been whining about all this
time like dumb little retards. Just some piece of advice: if you are
going to cry about something incessantly at least make sure its
grounded on, umm.. actual evidece. YEAH> Otherwise be prepared to
become the laughing stock when serious research on the subject is made.
But, well what do you expect, everybody knows racists are the laughing
stock of the world. (sorry but its true, the 20's are over)

And you know what, when racists are proven dead wrong about assumptions
they constantly complain about and use as ammunition for their lame
"hate movement" disguised as patriotism you can bet your ass that most
likely a lot more if not everything else they claim about Mexicans is
just the same: pure BS.

Moral of story: don't be led by fools and never trust racist dummies,
ever.

These rednecks don't know shit of what they are talking about.

You, sir, are a sore loser with a plethora of links to
"PseudoStatisticsLandia." Californians against illegal immigration are
not trying to save their state "for" themselves, so much as they are
trying to save the state "from" Third World incusion and its attendant
social decay and attrition. Your "statistics" do not belie the latter
in the least.

"Reknowned and prestigious?" So is the Ford Foundation, and they used
to contribute heavily to Liberal Arts artisans who sat about in their
Hawaiian attire upon Eucalyptus Hill in Santa Barbara, discussing
Truth, Beauty, and the universal significance of Plato's "Republic." Sheeeuuutt!!

How 'bout a link to "anhauserbusch.com," since they are heavy
contributers to MALDEF? They wouldn't happen to be "biased" towards an
ethnic boozer-constituency that consumes massive amounts of "cerveza,"
now would they? And as for those "nazi" websites, Save Our State and
VDARE don't promulgate a concept like "la raza," now do they? On the
contrary, their sites often provide links to pro and contra websites
that offer many countervailing perspectives, unlike the Brown Berets or
Brownpride.com... Speaking of the Brown Berets... why do they dress
like Border Patrol agents? Fashionable fascistas??

I haven't as yet done so. It is merely "your" claim about healthcare in
this country that I have questioned. Not that I am "questioning
authority," since I don't consider you an authority.

As regards "evidence," the poster in question that published his
statement in another forum (which I copied and pasted to this NG) is a
medical technician in California, with much experience in the matter of
being overwhelmed by undocumented peons of the lowest order. Who
should I believe more, him... or your rigged statistical stammerings?

It is logically possible for racists and non-racists to agree that we
are in many ways "under siege" in this nation, thanks to a tidal wave
of needy/greedy peasants coming from the south (yes it's more than
possible for poor folk to be "greedy." This is not just the perogative
of the rich folk). I'll grant you that many of the "assumptions" about
Mexicans can be completely amiss, ethnocentric, and/or racist to boot,
but this works both ways... Mexicans cannot be absolved from these same myopic shortcomings.

Not to worry. I am not "led" by your, nor do I trust you.

Nor do the Mechistas. Aztlan?? Gimme a break! It's just another
manifest mechista fantasy... "destinied" to fail.
