Default New posting from me

Hello all

we are looking into leaving the UK for New Zealand in the next few years
we are in the talking stage (and thinking).
My partner is a teacher and i am just a factory worker although i am doing
a diploma in I.T and A+
She has loads of cousin's living there and listening to them makes me want
to live there.
The question is do immigration look at individual occupation in order to
get a pass or point system .She is more likely to get a job there than me
although i am more than happy to take any jobs that i can find

Your partner may well qualify to emigrate - teachers appear to be in demand.
You can probably come too, but you may have trouble getting a work permit
until you have been here for (I think) 2 years. Have a look at

so i take it that at least one person in family must have a qualification
in order to live there?
