Hello all
we are looking into leaving the UK for New Zealand in the next few years we are in the talking stage (and thinking). My partner is a teacher and i am just a factory worker although i am doing a diploma in I.T and A+ She has loads of cousin's living there and listening to them makes me want to live there. The question is do immigration look at individual occupation in order to get a pass or point system .She is more likely to get a job there than me although i am more than happy to take any jobs that i can find Fintan -- Scarborough linux users group http://www.scarborough.lug.org.uk |

Your partner may well qualify to emigrate - teachers appear to be in demand.
You can probably come too, but you may have trouble getting a work permit until you have been here for (I think) 2 years. Have a look at http://www.immigration.govt.nz HTH EMB |
