SCOTS TRAD MUSIC AWARDS
Just a very short reminder from Temple Records and Battlefield Band that
the closing date for voting in the Scots Trad Music Awards is tomorrow
(Friday 8th August) so anyone who would like to participate in the
voting should hurry. This is the first year of these awards, which will
be an annual celebration of Scotland's rich musical traditions.

There are 15 different categories in which to vote this year, all
featuring a fine array of Scottish talent, and we are very pleased to
announce that Battlefield Band have been nominated in the 'Best Live
Act' section. Other nominees that we're pleased to see are
ex-Battlefield member Karine Polwart, in the 'Best Scots Singer'
section, and Dr Angus MacDonald in the 'Best Album ' category for "An
Sireadh Spors", a Temple Records recording!
