Following some minor maintenance work on the scs Informer
website, Perfidious Alban Publishing are pleased to announce that, due to (almost) overwhelming demand, an additional page has now been added to the scs Posters Gallery. In an attempt to cajole those ladies of a shy and retiring nature (aren't they all ?) to submit their long-promised photographs, for a limited time we are offering an unmissable opportunity to appear on the same page as my Old Uncle Baldy. Please be aware that he has *not* given me permission to add his undoubtedly distinctive person to these pages and, as a result, I may well be hearing from his lawyers very shortly. Hence this is an extremely limited opportunity for all you OUB fans. Please further note that this is a *respectable* website !! Photographs of the nature of those which were displayed on the "alternative" site will not be published in the Gallery. (We may, however, be amenable to finding a small corner elsewhere on the site if any such items of prurient interest are received !) Our phone lines are open now ! Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity ! It may be as close as you ever get to the adorable Patrick ! PS. One or two lucky ladies are already snuggled up to OUB. PPS. If any of the guys want to send a photo, I suppose we'll be able to find some space for your mugshot too ! PPPS. It has been noted that there have been a very low number [zero] of guestbook entries since mid-August. Doesn't anybody visit anymore ? PPPPS. Anyone who has a website which is not listed, send me the URL and I'll add it !! Hey, Glenallan, yir link's broked !! -- The Despicable Stewart -- Perfidious Alban -- http://www.ian-stewart.pwp.blueyonde...k/informer.htm |

Ye. I know what you mean. You have to read their instructions in the members area very carefully. The web site address is based on the alias you give to your first mailbox. For example, they provide a name like this xyz42@dsl.pipex.com (not real). You then have to change it to an alias of your choice. glenallan@dsl.pipex.com When you log in to claim your webspace, this is the name you use. You are then assigned www.glenallan.dsl.pipex.com automagically. If your first email name is just left as xyz42, I guess you get www.xyz43.dsl.pipex.com You will probably find a way of changing it. If not...phone them. If all else fails, there is plenty of free webspace available online. www.velnet.com is quite good...easy to use, but you need to upload from a velnet login...a nuisance. Easyspace is quite good. They will sell you an 'org' domain name for under a tenner with mail forwarding and web space. In fact you can get a decent domain name for less than £2 pounds. I've got my eye on www.rambo.me.uk Eh? |

On Mon, 3 Nov 2003 19:07:27 -0000, I read these words from "Kevn McM"
<gone@nothere.com> : Hoi, McMurty !!! If you want to discuss the aspects of Pipex as an ISP, goannie start another thread ??? Excellent as they may now be, not as good as when they were Unipalm, I'm currently attempting to con, err, convince posters to this ng to send me a photograph so that they may be immortalised for future generations. Your input threatens several months of research into what or who is likely to attract my target audience. So, in the immortal word, "Pick up thy thread and walk". -- The Despicable Stewart -- Perfidious Alban -- http://www.ian-stewart.pwp.blueyonde...k/informer.htm |

<gone@nothere.com> : Hoi, you ! I've *already* told you to b*gger off ! If you're not going to send me a photo for the Gallery, p*ss off out of this thread and discuss usernames, and how to change them, with regard to the Pipex domain, somewhere else ! Your intrusion here risks months and months of *extremely* expensive research into how to attract the "burdz" !! -- The Despicable Stewart -- Perfidious Alban -- http://www.ian-stewart.pwp.blueyonde...k/informer.htm |
