I was looking at a pic of the prisoners taken illegally and sent to Cuba
by the US. They had their eyes and ears covered and had their hands tied
behind their back. In years to come I expect the average US citizen is
going to look back and hang their heads in shame at the very thought of
this - how will they ever live this down?
Surely Bush and Blair have to be tried as war criminals at some point in
the future. Their defence has always been for Iraq at least that they
were' liberating' them from the evil Sadaam. I expect there is a grain
of truth in this but it does not excuse their actions, after all I am
sure the average Iraqi or Afghan would have been happier liberating
themselves. With friends like that who needs enemies.
