Netiquette requires that you DON'T delete the presumably provided URL.
Others may want "to read those things".
NewsGroups are for public discussions.
Email is for private.

SAns have this floksie/rural/peasant mentality where they like to
establish personal relationships in what are more correctly public
discussions.

This is regularly seen when in radio/TV interviews, the dialog uses
first names, eg:
* "Tell me *JOHN*, what do you think about WMD"
* "Well *PETER*, I'm glad you asked that, because ...."

Of course as you become more africanised, you won't only have to
'cutely' include the other party's name in each exchange, but you
will first have to have the african-opening-chorus of:
"How are you ? How did you awake ? How is your family ? How... "
