Default Sending gift to friend in SA.

Just come back from visiting a friend in Waterfall (near Hillcrest) and
during my time there we spent ages trying to get hold of the Monty Python
movies box set.

Anyway, now that I'm back in the UK I would like to send a copy of this
box-set to my friend. I'm just wondering if he's likely to get stung with
any charges from customs over there, does anyone know?

Thanks.

Send it as a gift and value it on the form for under 20GBP, then
they should have no problem. My daughters usually describe gifts
as second hand (they probably are) and I've never had any problems
with my monthly ration parcels. Which movies are included in the set
*The Life of Brian* used to be banned here but I don't supose it is now.
People used to think it had something to do with Jesus. Richard

Thanks for the advice, I'll do that.

The movies are "And Now For Something Completely Different.", "The Holy
Grail.", "The Life Of Brian." and "The Meaning of Life.".

I didn't know Brian had been banned, maybe it still is because we couldn't
find a copy at all.

Life of Brian is an obvious spoof on the life of Jesus. It is,
however, very funny and it also points out the hysteria and
hypocrisy associated with religion.

But in the movie Brian goes to great lengths to deny he is the
Messiah. ;>)
It is the only movie that I have watched 3 times, John Cleese
at his best. My favourite scene was where he wanted to buy
the false beard at the market, and the vendor wanted him to
haggle. Richard

I have watched it twice. But I could watch it again. I have also
watched Star Wars twice (the trilogy) and Lord of the Rings will be
a trilogy I could watch again and probably again. Ben Hur, The
Sound of Music and The Rocky Horror Picture Show are all movies I've
watched more than once and would willing watch again.
