It's a sign of great political immaturity, this knee-jerk support for a
miserable tyrant, sinply because he once stood for a worthwhile cause. The
irony is that Zimbabweans today are no more free than they were under Smith.
And they are a good deal less nourished to boot.

Tsvangirai may, as you say, be a puppet of the whites. But this does not,
ipso facto, make Mugabe a good guy, and the sooner you and all the rest of
the zanu apologists work this one out, the sooner Zimbabwe can start on the
long journey of recovery.

Of course, I live in Canada, so it's easy for me to to shout my mouth off.
