1972 Dodge 360 1-ton B-300 van - rear brake job?

1972 Dodge 360 1-ton B-300 van needs rear brake shoes replaced (possibly also one wheel cylinder!). Is this a one-man one-day driveway job with normal tools, or does it require special pullers or other extraordinary tools/facilities?

I have done the front brakes before, but I am not certain about the rear wheel R+R.

Can I just remove the drums separately somehow, or must I also R+R the entire hub assembly with those wacky little lock rings on the axle??

I need to remove the drums or the hubs, but which???.
