Default Enhancing performance of 3.7 liter V6 in Durango?

I just bought a 3.7 liter durango - 2WD with the 3.7 V6. Is this a
good motor? I had good experiences with the 3.3 in my caravan and the
3.9 in my older dakota, but not so good with the 3.0 in the previous
caravan. This is my first new vehicle.

I was wondering are any of the enhancements out on the market worth it
and have any of you all used them?

Things like:
-performance chips
- oil and other additives?
- high performance airfilters?

Anything to help increase the horsepower a bit that is actually worth
the bucks?

Also, this low end model durango has the options I wanted except it
did not have the molding on the doors to protect them. I could not
find aftermarket parts? Where woudl you all go - back to dodge and
order the molding from them?

Thanks.

Last time that I checked, I think that the chip and a cold air
induction was just about the same cost as getting the v-8 upgrade...
