I currently play 80 min Sony CD-R audio cds. I n my '98 1500 Quad 5.9 SLT
Lariate, with the upper end audio system for that year/model. I found out
through much trial and effort that the only disc's that will work in my
truck are the any brand silver or gold top with the bluish tint underside.
Some writable cd's have a greener tint underside, but they didn't work.
Record speed hasn't been an issue. Good luck
