Default Lighting short Painful update (FIXED!!)

There were 2 shorts.

A mild one in the back of truck, and a severe one under the dash. I would
have taken pictures of how bad the wiring was in the dash (I am currently
redoing it all) but I am sure that I would be arrested for posting such
illegal pics.
Thanks again for the help, especially the refresher on ohms and light bulbs.
I only drive new vehicles, and it has been 10 years since I have had to do
this kind of stuff.

hey chevguy... glad you got it fixed!
it's amazing how much you forget when you haven't done basic stuff
like that in a while, and how quick it comes back with a few helpful
pointers...
i hope your friend is VERY appreciative, that trouble shooting job and
repair you did for him was worth big bucks..
