Default Dodge or Ford

OK Boyz:

April Fool's Day is still a month an a half away!

In answer to the post, I tow a similar RV with my '03 DR 2500 2wd with HO
CTD, 48RE, 3.73 LS axle and couldn't be happier. If you compare the towing
capacity and construction quality of the Ford vs the Dodge you WILL see the
difference! And there is NO comparison between the Cummins engine vs. the
problematic PowerStroke.

Check out a Truck Trader. You can buy a used Peterbuilt or Kenworth for less
than a new Dodge or Ford.

I was going to say that both brands are fine, until you mentioned
diesel....
if i was buying diesel, i'd buy cummins in whatever truck it came in
at the time..

I remember when Ford built good engines way back in......???

They're crap now and they slipped to number three to prove it. No mo'
Ford's here, especially when they rewrite their warranties after you buy the
damn thing (damhik!).

Cummins gets my vote.

Before you buy a Ford diesel, you might want to look at the following link

Probably the Ford. Dodge is more of a show truck. Looks great and all, but
for the hard work, I would get the Ford (or wait for the Nissan Titan diesel
to come out).

Go to www.turbodieselregister.com and www.thedieselstop.com and read the
discussion forums. You should be able to draw your own conclusion as to
which is the higher quality, more reliable, and more powerful product.

diesel

This makes no sense. All previous Dodge trucks were well regarded as very
tough work trucks. What has changed with the new models? Also, I'm unaware
of a Nissan 3/4 ton. And there is no better diesel than Cummins.
