Default Dorsey's Top Secret Midge Recipe (fly)

You have to go poking around in the report Vince.
The recipe is ...

Hook: TMC 2488

Sizes : 18-26

Body : 8/0 Uni-Thread, Brown

Wing : Umpqua Floro-Fiber, White

Rib: 6/0 Fly Master Plus White Thread (do not reverse rib)

Thorax : Fine and Dry, Rust Brown

Thread : 8/0 Uni-thread, Brown

The secret is in the non-reverse rib ...

;-)

Are you being facetious there Stephen? I can't see why the direction of the
rib would make any real difference in appearance or durability on a thread
body. Maybe the fish are accustomed to reverse rib flies and prefer the
un-reversed? The rib isn't going to sink into the underbody wraps because
you're still going to be crossing several thread wraps for every rib wrap.
I'm overthinking this..
