well one day a neighbors rottie was chasseing my cat
she weren't doing to well so I evened it up a bit
pulled my 44 special and put an end to it
after the word got out that a pure bread rottie was
found by the side of the road
every one started to obey the leash laws

problem solved

Not quite. You're still walking around loose.

No, his neighbors "rottie" only ate pure bread. It's like the stuff they
serve up at the church alter, I think?

I wonder if he will report back, when his neighbor shows up to kick his
chickenshit ass?

Just curious. . . what would you do if a "rottie" were running thru your
property trying to kill one of your animals? This is not just addressed to
you Riverman, but to all the others also. My understanding is that a dog
that attacks poultry or any stock is put down at the stock owner's
discretion. Does this apply to my cat. . . hummmm?

Also, my own feelings about Rotts, etc dogs in general that are bred to go
after people is not benign. And I don't think much of folks who maintain
such animals in residential areas. But then Ive had a kid who was attacked
and cut up by such an animal so I may be biased.

To my mind, Dave, it's not so much what he did, or at least what he said
he did, as that he had to crow about it on Usenet.

The OP never said the dog was on his property; in fact, leaving the carcass
'by the side of the road' implies a bit of an anonymous vigilante-style
killing, to teach the community a lesson. That's a load of crap. In fact,
the OP
(Glenn Heller, posting under this addy as well as his older addy
(glennh@pipeline.com)
has a history of spurious inflammatory posts about complete BS. And he's
been here before,
too, in the same style.
