Default Rapala Magnum lures. (mackerel)

Anyone know of any cheap and reliable sources for Rapala Magnum lures?

Also anyone know of any decent sites where I can which detail these so that
I can work out exactly what model I need to get. I'm looking for the ones
that look like mackerel, I believe they're called needlefish, that have a
metal vane at the front any suggestions?

Try http://www.rapala.com, primarily an American site, but will give you the basics
of the range, though not the entire range, as this does vary from one
country to another.

Sounds like you are looking for CD MAG series, and SLIVER series, there are
other lures that will dive deeper, and this may effect your catch rate -
presuming that you are looking at Bass.

We have used the CD MAGs elsewhere in the world, and found that there are
preferences away from the Rapalas, towards the Halco Crazy Deep Sorcerers,
which run considerably deeper. This all depends on the terrain you are going
over, shallow reefs would simply eat all you Halcos, as they dive to 8
metres.

Hope that helps, otherwise contact us direct for more info.

Cheers

Rapala are distributed in the UK by Masterline and their website is

http://www.thenumberone.co.uk

they also distribute Storm lures (now part of Rapala) who do a stainless
steel thunder stick bass pattern which is similar to the stainless steel
magnums but cheaper they will also send a full lure catalogue with
patterns colours and prices if you ask them nice.
