Default engine swap: early vs. late 302/5.0 - crankshaft/flywheel/balancer variations

ok, we have an '84 Bronco (fullsize, 4x4) with a 4-speed, originally had a
351w, now has a '79 302 (w/a bad crank- so it's gotta go)

we also have: an '86 HO 5.0 from a mustang...

can we put the '86 5.0 in place of the '79 302?
I ask because I understand that 302 engines up to '80 had a different
imbalance-weight (28oz ?) than the '81-up 302 engines.... (50oz?)

will the intake from the '79 bolt on? (it's carbureted, we don't feel like
changing that!)
will the timing cover, and water pump from the '79 fit? (it's got
standard-rotation v-belts/pulleys on the '79, we don't want to change that
either)
will the oil pan, and oil-pump pickup-tube and dipstick tube all fit?
(dipstick is in block, on driver-side )

will the flywheel (from the '79, but it has a C8** (1968) part number on it)
work on this '86 302, IF I use the matching '79 harmonic balancer?

or, are the cranks actually balanced differently, irrespective of the
imbalance weight of the flywheels/harmonic balancers?

--------------------

separate question:
are the cranks interchangeable, between the one-piece-rear-main-seal
engines, vs. the older two-piece-main-seal- engines?

thanks for the general tips, but... I have very specific questions that are
detailed in the message.

I am asking if I can use a NEW 302 with an OLD FLYWHEEL and HARMONIC
BALANCER, among other things.

And, yes, it's the Crank design that requires the respective balance weights.
