1983 thunderbird 3.8 trans and 1988 302 will it bolt up?

i need to know if a 1983 3.8 liter and a 302 have the same bellhousing bolt
pattern

i really don't think so and even if they do you will blow all the guts
out of a perfectly good cougar tranny get one from a f150 or a mustang
check out this site coolcats.net loads of info there for cougars and t-
birds assuming that's what you have
