Default Can you please help me please?

Hello Jeff,
Thank you for replying.
The resason why I change a head gaskets in the first place was because
I bow a hole in the radiator that came with the car when I bout it. I
was running late to work one day and I seen that the Thunderbird was
over heating. I was about two blocks from my work. " Running later over
heated bird two blocks away. Well I was on time for work." I put a used
good looking radiator from a Thunderbird a friend picked it up so I
hope it's from a Thunderbird. Well had to do some costume things to
make the radiator fit. The water flows throu it petter good. I think?
The Thunderbird continuous to over heat. After it over heated with the
new used radiator for me. I put a new thermostat in the Thunderbird and
it still over heated. Right now the Thunderbird is running with out a
thermostat. I was told you don't need a thermostat in the summer. But
you do need them in the winter. Even with out the thermostat it still
over heats. Put a water pump in. Last Put Not Lessed HeadGasket.

If you want to save a LOT of money, I can only suggest you find a good shop
and let them fix the car....

Is the gauge showing high temp or is the car actually overheating (making a
sound like a perculator?)... Does it do it a low speeds? High speeds? All
speeds?.

If the rad was from a T-bird, I doubt that you have to do some "costume"
things to make it fit....

When the head gaskets were changed, were the heads checked for cracks or
warp? If the motor has overheated since head gasket replacement, the heads
and/or gaskets may once again be suspect... Overheat it bad enough and
everything is suspect....

Even though you refuse to tell us what size the motor is, we can pretty well
bet the farm that it is a 3.8.....
