Default Ford Fusion

I have owned one for close to two months and I'm very satisfied. Lots of
bang for the buck, quite roomy, and good performance.

You can see some reviews at: http://autos.yahoo.com/

I have had one since the end of January. I recommend the car. Very roomy and
a smooth ride. Only complaint is that the air conditioners controls are too
far down on the center console. Also the extra storage compartment that is
on the top of the dash broke within 2 weeks of me owning the car. For me it
is not a huge deal since I did not really use it, But it is quite annoying
when it just pops up when I am driving. I have the SE model with the 4
cylinder engine. I would say the pick up on it is not the greatest, but it
is smooth. Unless you are going to race someone, not a huge deal.

Hi,

guys is there any problem with ford fusion, I am pretty close to make
decision in buying one, so if any reason why shouldn't or should I would
really like to know ;-))).

Also I can't find in any brochures is it 16V motor or is not! Salesman (of
course) said it is, but I am in little bit doubt because he said that is the
same machine like in fiesta, and as I know in fiesta is 8V machine! Does
anybody know?

Kind regards!

Seems to be a really good car for the bucks. I haven't heard anything bad about it.

Ford does: www.ford.com. Choose the Ford logo, then choose cars and
minivans, then Fusion, then choose specs. Then you will see that you can
choose between the 16 V or 24 V Duretec engines.

You could have also gone to www.google.com, www.caranddriver.com or other
places to learn about it.

The Ford Fiesta also has seveal 4 cylinder 16 V engines available, but you
have to go overseas to get it (like England). Jeff

Looking at your email agress, you are overseas. Looks like the UK version of
the Fiesta comes in several different size Duretec engines as well as two
turbo Diesels. So the salesman was right when he said that it is a 16V
desgin. In the US, they no longer sell it. Jeff \

The standard engine in the Fusion is a 4 cy with a 5 speed manual tranny. A
five speed automatic is optional. The option engine is a 221 HP V6 with a
six speed automatic. I have owned the Lincoln Zephyr since December
version of the Fusion which has the V6 as the standard engine. Great car
with plenty of power, it will get over 30 MPG on the highway. If you plan
on buying one that is pretty well equipped, you might want to price a
Mercury Milan as well. The pricing is a bit better because of the many
standard bits that are additional cost options on the Fusion.
