says... Ford usually puts the switch near the latch mechanism on the back edge of the door. If you look closely you might be able to see a small hole near the latch mechanism that is large enough to get a small tube, as found on spray contact cleaner into the hole. Spray the area inside the hole liberally with contact cleaner, some people use WD-40 instead, then open and close the door several times. Usually cleaning the area like this solves the problem, it is very common. If you cannot fix it that way you will need to take your inside door panels off and replace the switch. -- I.
