I don't install a patch until the list of servers gets down below 30 or
so ... so I put it in this evening. First round, I was nearly crushed
by a hummer coming out of the sky!

I even think the enemy commander aimed one at me once . . .

You can bet on it. I have found the vehicle drops very effective at
stopping enemy guys stealing planes. Gotta time it just right, but a
vehicle suddenly in front the jet makes for a nice explosion...

Dropping it onto Helo's works quite nice too..

Or, drop it onto the pad when there are a bunch of 'air hoares' waiting
around, then set an Arty going. Just as the two helos arrive, they
start arguing amongst themselves as to who is taking the helo's and then
booom... arty gets the lot of em.
On AF there is a base that is catchable (i.e. non-red) that has two helo
pads. Its always full of 'hoares' waiting to fight each other other
the new scout chopper or hanging around for the attack. They hate it
when they get artied.

We had a commander the other night on Wake who kept dropping vehicles on
the enemy who was on north end of the wooden bridge while we were on the
south trying to hold them back. He was probably dropping the vehicles to
try and crush some enemy to help us out. But in reality he was missing
(they were evading) so they weren't getting crushed. So in all that was
happening was that they were getting free vehicles to help them escape
across the bridge and bust through us. A couple of us yelled at the
commander with some chat messages; he finally got a clue and even
apologized.

The other night I was helping the commander fix some arty (both of us
engineers) when the enemy commander dropped a vehicle right on the
arty. I got out of the way, the commander didn't, the arty was detroyed
and the vehicle blew up too.
