BF2 framerate dropping.
AmbianceForce> Sorry, dude, but you got some ISP issues. What do you
AmbianceForce> have? My money is your on a cable modem. Go to
AmbianceForce> http://www.dslreports.com and look in their tools area for
AmbianceForce> thier Dr. Ping app. Watch your ping times and you'll
AmbianceForce> know when you're lagging.
I'm starting to regret switching to Comcast broadband, noticed pings
increase in the evenings, and tech support tells me nothing is wrong.
(For example, a local web site, http://www.boeing.com, would be 20ms during
the day, 150ms+ at night.) Tech support said that based on the
traceroute, that it was a problem outside of Comcast.
Could it just be my modem or should I switch back to DSL?
