I think I've missed more days in the last month than I have in the four
years before. Not sure why.

Still playing, still paying month to month (how stupid is that, eh?).
Spent time recruiting, filling up inspiration storage in the base, and
making tweaks to the base layout, ran out of time to play last week.
Still need to make a website. Who's your favorite free host?

Same here. Seems that every time I sit down to play for a few hours
something comes up and I have to go save the world.

Damn those Middle Eastern / Third World / Former Soviet-Block despots!

I have so many commercial hosts I never use the freebies. :P

I keep meaning to move the Heroica site from the off-brand URL to
shenanigunner.com, but I guess my interest is fading just enough that I
haven't taken the time.

Paying quarterly for two, here. My wife was a mad maven for quite a while
(given that she watched me play for three years before so much as looking
over my shoulder... and when she started looking over my shoulder a lot, I
got that second account).

We've been 'orribly busy for the last month, especially with a major
vacation coming up that needs tons of planning. (We'll be spending most of
June in Europe.)

But we might get back on tonight and punch my MM to the magic 22, so I can
dump and reslot him with SOs... then park him and go back to a more
interesting alt.

Want to get a villain to 50 so I can try one of the future epic villain
ATs when they get added.
Unfortunately my highest and second highest villains are on Virtue and
there is unacceptable amounts of lag with Virtue over Dialup, so I'm
forced to play my robo/dark MM on Liberty.


I'm in exactly the same boat, what with the purchase of several other
games (Oblivion, the Nightfall expansion for Guildwars and Prey) and yet
I can't find much time to play any of them.)

I had an even worse bit of luck with Prey.
I saved game, many times, but since it insists on saving to the windows
root drive and yet does no checking at all to verify the save actually
occurred, I ended up with 30+ 0 byte saves when the drive ran out of
space. Not once did it ever say the save failed.

I'd really like to meet the dev who coded that idiocy and kick his
gonads up into his throat. Several dozen times.

Still love the game, still have an active account, but got dragged into
EVE last December. I'm having a good time with that, but I know when I
burn out on EVE, CoH will be waiting for me, as comfortable and reliable
as an old favorite pair of boots.

Meanwhile, the SO (who also plays EVE with me) is jonesing for WoW, but
doesn't want to go back into the One Addiction to Rule Them all... I
think soon her prescription is more CoH(bell).
