Is it possible to play on Non-American servers (such as European servers)
with a US account? I don't care if I have to re-create characters I have in
the states (actually, I'd like to leave them where they are).

The reason I ask is that I'm stationed overseas and the time difference is a
bear to deal with. When I'm on, there's next to no one out and about on the
servers (save for the Left Coast, and then, only for a few hours). It would
be nice to play when there are people up and awake when I am..

Sadly not. You either have to move your US account over to the EU
servers (which is permanent; there's no way to move back) or create
and pay for a new one there.
